How to Request a Home Visit
Home Visits are usually for housebound patients only.
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. If you need a home visit please try and call us before 11:00.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. The Duty Doctor will only arrange a home visit if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the practice to schedule house calls. Children are safe to be brought to the surgery even if feverish. We shall make every effort to see them quickly. The majority of home visits are carried out by the practice's Visiting Paramedic.
